Happy 31st Birthday, MM!

Congratulations on turning 31 years old today. You don't look a day over 21, and you still get carded if you are not with me. People think you are a teen mother. You can still use your college ID to get movie discounts. You are beautiful, vibrant, and you transcend all time...like a Michael Bolton ballad. A little known fact about you is that your first CD (at your request, no less) was Michael Bolton's hit album, "Time, Love and Tenderness." There really is nothing else to say about that.

Age-wise, the only thing that you can't do is become president. But, that job will definitely be up for grabs in a few years, so don't give up hope. You share the same birthday as Barbara Bush, Joan Rivers, Rob Pilatus (half of the acclaimed Milli Vanilli), Keenan Ivory Wayans, Kanye West, and J.D. (the one year-old with the big head from Harper's daycare class).

And, most importantly, we have a baby sitter tonight, so we get to go to dinner (for a change), and then we are going to see Wicked, the musical, and I get to pretend like I don't want to see it and tell people that we are just going because it's your birthday. It's a WIN-WIN!
