Harper has become quite the ham lately. She started doing this "mean face" to us about a week ago & hasn't stopped since. I think she finds it as hilarious as we do. This video is from her earliest versions of the "mean face", which now includes a more furrowed brow than seen in the video. But I wanted to capture this moment before it's gone.
Another story that goes along with the "mean face" --
Yesterday at daycare, Harper was in the walk-about (you know, one of those toys that's like a reverse exersaucer that the babies can walk around while in this bucket-type thingy). She would walk around it & every time she came back around, she would give Ms. Kellie (Harper's fave teacher) her "mean face." Ms. Kellie told Harper, "Harper if you don't stop giving me that mean face of yours, I'm not going to take you outside when I go out there in a little bit." Kellie said Harper just looked at her & said, "Ooooooooh" with a tone like we used to use in middle school when someone would cut someone down. Kellie said she & the other teachers laughed forever about it. I'm pretty sure Harper told me "No!" last night when I tried to wipe her still goopy eye. I think we are going to have a little sassy, fireball on our hands!
